This
weekend is the Golden Fine Arts
Festival and the town will be full
of events.
Things start off on Friday night
with Music
and Movies in the Park.
The Arts Festival, a juried show
with 140 artists in 8 categories, is
Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 –
5:00. Over 70% of the artists
are from Colorado. For more

The Farmer’s Market will
start at 8:00 on Saturday and run
until 4:00 due to the Festival.
Many
business will have special events,
and there will be five entertainment
stages throughout downtown and at
the Festival site on 11th
parallel to the Clear Creek History
Park. So what’s happening at
Baby Doe’s? Saturday and
Sunday from 12:00 – 3:00 stop by
to see a fiber artist demonstrate
spinning. Plus, meet the
Recycled Sweater Monkey on Saturday
from 12:00 – 3:00. We have
this great recycled line of winter
accessories and the Sweater Monkey
at the store. We’ll have a
coloring contest for kids up to 12.
Someone will be lucky enough to win
the Sweater Monkey! Stop by

are hosting a show called The
Two Faces of Three Denver Artists
starting on Friday, August 15 and
running through Monday, August 25.
Many of you know the artists Candice
Kiesow, Marie Quinn and Patricia
Zilinski who show at Baby Doe’s.

Fall
is arriving with new inventory.
We have a great selections of jeans
from JAG, WORN, Christopher Blue,
Pine IV and Ethyl. Although we
are still experiencing summer, you
will enjoy the soft fabrics of
sweaters and jackets to pair with
jeans.
Many
of you have asked---Baby Doe’s
will do final markdowns on the sale
on Friday, August 22. We still
have a good selection but things are
going fast.
